Well, another month has passed and the new elusive Superintendent Lamas has still not been over to introduce herself yet she has been in the building and on this pod several times, it almost feels like she is avoiding us. Well, after the way the Superintendent Dawn Chamberlain treated us I guess this one in following in her footsteps. We had high hopes for Supt Lamas. I mean she has worked in prison where there were other death row inmates and this lead us to believe she would be much more reasonable in her thinking. Oh! We don’t know maybe she will still be a good person to work with us. Only time will tell.
As far as the ongoing battle we’ve had with using the law library, this is something we had won last year, however now that they have a computer in here that allows us access to updated case information, they are giving the reason that we are no longer allowed to use the law library two inmates at a time because there is only one computer and the obscene excuse was because there is only one chair in there. LOL! I really had to laugh when they said that because we know why there is only one chair in there and the reason is because we removed the chair to stand on when we were asked to clean faeces and urine off a security cameras-that is where the second chair went.LOL! Yet they still have to say no to us using the law library two at a time. There will never be two computers in there because there is not enough room and the chair is just a matter of replacing. These are just the type of issues we have to deal with daily here and just when you think you have won the person in charge change’s and you have start the same process all over again.
Well, this is all about all that is happening with the 3 Amigos for the month of April. Thank you for all of your support and prayers. Hugs!
The Muncys Amigos!
Things are about the same here and we are looking forward to the new superintendent and hopefully she will be willing to judge us on a record here on death row and not treat us as a novelty. Also I would like to thank everyone for visiting the site and we will update the petition and other things soon.

Muncy's 3 Amigos
Hello,
We are all currently on death row in Muncy. We are writing this, reaching out, hoping that people will take the time to read this, and hopefully find it in their hearts to want to help in any possible way!
Coming to death row, I really don't think anyone knows what to expect, let alone be able to accept and deal with every day life on the Row! There truly are no good days. We have learned to make the best of each day, to deal with everything in the best way! Being sentenced to death alone has it's effect on one, then we're to deal with the surroundings that we live in. I know you're probably wondering, even thinking what can one want or even expect being on death row? We feel more than we're getting! We have been punished, sentenced but we feel we still are!
In 2002-2003, we moved into this building (housing unit) It was built for capital case inmates and for RHU inmates. It was to our understanding that capital case inmates were going to have their own unit separated from the others, but we were housed with the smu inmates (special management unit) We (capital case) were housed on the upper floor while the SMU inmates were housed on the lower floor. It was'nt the best but to be honest we all would like to be back over there!
Around August 15th we were moved again to another unit down the hall from where our unit was. I don't even know how to describe what we go through on a daily basis! The conditions we are forced to live In Inmates arguing with each other, threatening each other, inmates cursing and threatening officers. Screaming, yelling, banging, beating of doors, windows, sometimes starting at 6:30 in the morning going on for hours at a time constantly talking about sexual gestures to one another. These things go on sometimes until 2:00-3:00 in the morning. To get any peace of mind the officers will turn the fan on to block them out. Now it helps out but what about when winter gets here, it will be too cold to run a fan. We have voiced our concerns to the LT. and she said we were complaining now about them being housed with us but yet if they receive a misconduct then they'll be here longer with us. So in other words it's okay for them to say and do whatever they want to? We should'nt have to be subjected to any of this! We have already been punished, sentenced! The whole reason we were moved over here was to be segregated from general population yet we're being housed not only with general population but also with the youth offenders (YAO) We can't be on campus with any of them, be out of our cell when any of them are out but yet we can be housed with them, even rec'd next to them. Help us understand this?
Since moving over here we feel as if we've been forgotten about, literally forgotten about! The officer is hardly on the unit with us. Because of this we miss our phonecalls, we are not able to do our detail and if we dont come out and clean our showers, floors, walls, doors it just does'nt get done! Imagine getting a shower that has not been cleaned after 20 other women have showered. We still are human! We may be in prison but there are still some who believe in cleanliness!!!!!
We're limited to doing only so much. If it does'nt take place on our unit we cannot participate. We are not allwed to take part in any kind of church activities, so we were approved of having a bible study once a month and we are able to recieve communion 3 times a week at our door through our wicket. Please take a moment and try to imagine taking communion while inmates are cursing each other out or talking about sexual encounters with one another. How much do we have to take? Have'nt we been punished enough? When will enough be enough? What some need to remember is that we too are still human just as the next! Please, we're asking, even begging for all the help one is willing to give! Anything to help make things more bearable! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
